The MB-20 fills the need for a robust and modular compact matte box that can accept wide angle lenses like the Fujinon 4.5 x 13. The ARRI MB-20 can be attached to the camera in multiple ways, including a swing-away bracket that can accommodate both 15mm lightweight and 19mm bridge plate bars or a clip on adapter for most lenses. It also provides two rotating filter stages for many filter sizes up to 5.65 x 5.65.

The Follow Focus FF5-HD complements the MB-20, and makes working with video lenses easier through a longer swing arm, a lower gear ratio and a selection of video gears.

The Timing Shift Box (TSB) is an accessory that has been available for the ARRICAM for some time and is now available for the 435 Xtreme. The Timing Shift Box alters the phase relationship of the mirror shutter to the movement in varying degrees so that the film is exposed while being transported. This creates a streaking effect or blurring that has become popular with cinematographers.

The Hand Crank HC-1 can be used with any 435 Xtreme or 435 Advanced to achieve that traditional hand cranked look. An ARRIHEAD hand wheel (not included) can be attached to the HC-1 and the rotation of the hand wheel will govern the speed of the camera. To set the HC-1 to the operators liking a fluid dampening of the hand wheel can be set and three gear ratios can be programmed on the camera’s display: 5, 10 or 20 frames per revolution. The HC-1 can control speeds from 0 to 150 fps, forward or reverse.

Probably the highest quality extreme wide angle lens ever built! This unique 8mm lens is of rectilinear design with a horizontal angle of view of 114 degrees.
