The Standard in Film Recording
The ARRILASER bridges the gap between digital film production and analog film projection. It is the first cine film recorder to use three solid state lasers as light source, setting a new standard in productivity and reliability, significantly reducing the cost of recording digital images onto film.
Available models:
ARRILASER HD, ARRILASER Speed twoK, ARRILASER Speed Performance
“The ARRILASER does the same thing that we could do before on the old CRT recorder, but it’s a matter of getting things turned around quicker, especially when we’re doing an entire feature. To do a feature with the old technology would take us two months to record a film out; now we can do it, if we run around the clock, in six to seven days. It’s an incredible advance in speed, and it also produces a sharper picture. It exposes a wider range of the film. There was a limitation to the maximum intensity of the old system, whereas the ARRILASER will expose a film to its maximum capacity.”
