The D-20 is a film-style digital camera that answers many of the frustrations Cinematographers have when working with current HD cameras. To help Directors and Cinematographers digitally shoot the same way as they would with 35mm film. Achieving the same cinematic depth of field, viewing angle and with essential viewing-through-the-lens via an optical viewfinder, ARRI has developed a special CMOS sensor which is the same size as a Super 35mm film frame. The sensor’s position, combined with a spinning mirror shutter, gives a bright optical viewfinder which is indispensable for accurate framing and picture composition. Equipped with PL mount allowing the use of an enormous range of the finest prime, zoom and specialty 35mm film lenses and associated accessories.
The output of the camera is a progressive video signal at 1920 x 1080 pixel resolutions, with a choice of HD or full RGB format to suit different production requirements, work flows and budgets. Several prototype models are currently available for pilot productions from the ARRI rental companies.

After the successful launch of the ARRIFLEX 235, the smallest and lightest 35mm camera yet, ARRI is introducing a variety of new accessories for the 235, including two new 235 magazines, a long eyepiece extension, a method to mount 15mm support rods and special light weight 19mm supports to the 235 side bracket
The FF-5HD is a new follow focus that has been designed specifically for video lenses or cine lenses with a small diameter barrel.
ARRI is introducing the most flexible compact matte box available to the film and video production industry to date. The MB-20 is an all new flexible compact wide angle matte box that accepts all HD zooms like the Canon 4.7 x 11 or the Fuijinon 4.5 x 13, HD primes, small cine zooms and most cine prime lenses, including wide angle primes up to 14mm.
