ARRI is introducing a new Super 16 Camera, the ARRIFLEX 416, which allows the user to take full advantage of the recent advances in technology. This super 16mm camera with its ergonomic design offers integrated electronic accessories and is compatible with both 16mm and 35mm lenses.

With its 35mm style viewfinder and speed range from 1 to 75fps the ARRIFLEX 416 operates at a sound level of less than 20dbA and benefits from a manually adjustable mirror shutter between 45 and 180 degrees.
The ARRIFLEX 416 incorporates a re-designed viewfinder containing fewer lens elements but of a much superior quality and shorter optical path. This results in a brighter image with higher resolution and significantly higher contrast. As is now the norm with ARRIFLEX viewfinders it can be freely rotated, extended or oriented to either side of the camera. The revolutionary new ARRIGLOW system even illuminates in a variety of colours.
With this new Super 16 camera we have reduced the weight by 25% in comparison to the ARRIFLEX 16SR3 Advanced. Its profile is reduced while at the same time shape and weight are perfectly balanced for comfortable shoulder operation.

The art of lens design has now been advanced with ARRI’s introduction of a new set of high speed, wide angle lenses for Super 16mm filmmaking; the Ultra 16.
Like the Master Primes, the Ultra 16 lenses combine high speed with outstanding optical performance. With a widest stop of T1.3 they allow shooting in low or available light, allowing a leaner lighting budget and where necessary, a shallow depth of field.

Equalled by no other Super 16 lens in optical performance, the Ultra 16s join the other ARRI/ZEISS lenses in elevating the Super 16 image to its highest possible quality.
The Ultra 16 lenses exhibit high contrast, high resolution, almost no chromatic aberration (colour fringes) and a great resistance to flaring. They are designed as close focus lenses and their outstanding optical qualities even at close focus.
The Ultra 16 lenses have been designed as an extension to the Ultra Primes and Master Primes in the wide end. Their size, focus and iris barrel position exactly match the Ultra Primes for fast and comfortable usage on the set. All five Ultra 16 lenses have the same 95mm front diameter as the Ultra Primes 16mm through 135mm.
All five Ultra 16 lenses cover the full Super 16 format and are the perfect companions to the new Super 16 camera the ARRIFLEX 416.

Inspired by the ARRIFLEX 235 and ARRICAM Lite the ARRI Zeiss Lightweight Zoom (LWZ-1) is the ideal companion for hand-held and Steadicam. Sophisticated design and manufacturing techniques, including the production of high precision, large diameter aspherical elements and the use of exotic glass materials ensures Zeiss quality despite its compact form factor and light weight.
The zoom fits perfectly with the ARRI Zeiss Ultra Prime and Master Prime lenses, as it is Super Colour Matched and shows similar image quality and characteristics. Special light absorption techniques and the Zeiss T* XP multi-layer, anti-reflex coating keep veiling glare to a minimum.

The Ultra Prime 8R is an extreme wide angle T2.6 lens with a unique, fresh look. Due to its rectilinear design the Ultra Prime 8R shows an extremely wide angle of view without any of the commonly associated distortion. In contrast to a fisheye lens, a rectilinear lens keeps straight lines straight and creates an image that covers the entire ANSI Super 35 aperture.

A radically shaped aspherical front lens element, produced using semiconductor technology, provides high optical quality while substantially reducing size and weight - making the Ultra Prime 8R a revolutionary size for an 8mm lens

The MB-20 System II is a compact Matte Box designed to accommodate even wide angle lenses like the Fujinon 4.5 x 13, while still being lightweight enough to be used handheld. The new Basic Module and Light Shields offer users and rental houses the MB-20 modularity at reduced cost of entry. They can also be attached directly to the lens with a clip on adapter. Independently rotating filter stages can hold diverse filter sizes up to 5.65" x 5.65".
ARRI's new and innovative patented cage design allows for use of videography-style light shields without sacrificing durability and gives full protection of the sunshade against shocks. Four light shields can be used simultaneously with full adjustability to control flares from all sides – hot pavements below and bright sun above are no longer a problem.
With increasing use of the ARRI Lightweight Follow Focus LFF-1 as a primary follow focus unit, we received many requests for a studio style knob. This new focus knob matches the size of standard ARRI studio follow focus knobs and is compatible with stand studio follow focus marking disks, while retaining the LFF-1 systems anti-backlash couplings.
