After the very successful introduction of High Speed Package 1 for the ARRILASER, there will now be another significant speed upgrade, available for any ARRILASER in the field. The ARRILASER at the ARRI booth will showcase the High Speed Package 2 which includes a redesigned electronic module to enable a true 16bit workflow, new Software package based on Linux with client-server architecture and database support, and a speed enhancement for both 2k and 4k resolution by a factor of 2 compared to the current speed specification of the ‘top of the line’ ARRILASER Speed Performance.

Also the ARRILASER HD/DI a new member of the ARRILASER family has just been released and the first units already installed in Asia and Europe.
The ARRILASER HD/DI is the entry level model and derived from the ARRILASER HD film recorder but without the limitation of camera negative. The ARRILASER HD/DI is especially designed for emerging markets and start-up companies and comes with a very attractive price tag, allowing small postproduction houses uncompromising film recording quality with the Academy Award-winning ARRILASER standard. With the ARRILASER HD/DI there is no limitation as it can be upgraded to any existing and upcoming model of the ARRILASER family at later stages.

The ARRI Colour Management System achieved its next step as well. Renamed to ARRICUBE all three pillars have been enhanced. Due to a new and unique method of print film measurement the existing 3D LUT´s for previewing logarithmic data can be renewed, and the customization workflow improved. On the ARRILASER side ARRICUBE now allows the usage of 3D LUT´s in the image processing software and new 3D LUT´s for all film materials delivered with the ARRICUBE package.

The ARRISCAN team presents its Digital Dailies Base Package including live preview during winding. With the unique concept of the ARRISCAN, the combination of CMOS sensor and LED Illumination, the ARRISCAN generates a monochromatic preview when winding forward or backward. The winding speed goes up to 2m/ sec. In addition the digital dailies scan mode delivers a scanning speed of 8 fps @ 2K resolution. Additional features of the Base Package include flash and frameline detection.
