Come and visit the ARRI team at this year’s IBC, an excellent opportunity to catch up with all the latest new innovative camera, lighting and digital products from ARRI.
For camera, there will be the ARRIFLEX D-20 film-style digital camera now able to record 60 pictures per second with the new Fibre Optic Link allowing the use of a cable length of at least 500m between camera and recorder.
Also for camera, the ARRIFLEX 235, winner of this year’s Academy Sci-Tech award, will be presented with a speed upgrade which offers a maximum speed of 75 fps.
The Master Prime family grows wider and larger this year, with the introduction of the Master Prime 14mm and Master Prime 150mm. High speed, high performance lenses continuing the success story and already used in many commercials and feature films, including the Oscar-winning The Departed.
Besides these new products ARRI presents several new accessories.
A highlight will be the LED-based back-lighting system which has already been used in an 800sqm studio of Rundfunk Berlin Brandenburg and is setting standards in lighting. It took only seven months to refurbish the TV studio in close cooperation with ARRI Lighting Solutions. Due to the innovative use of LED technology the broadcast station will be able to meet requirements like daily changing formats such as talk shows, magazines and sport programmes which demand high flexibility, short changeover times and embody a high demand of architectural and lighting design in the studio environment.
MaxMover, ARRI’s new automated stirrup for large lampheads, which offers remote pan, tilt, and focus is easily adaptable on location and fits a wide range of fixtures from 6-18kW, will also be on display.
